Essentially, caulk can be used on various materials, including wood and concrete, to seal crevices. In addition to being effective, caulk is also cheap and readily available at your local hardware store.
3. Pieces of Cardboard
Cardboard is the cheapest bug prevention method. All that is required of you is cutting the cardboard into small pieces and then fitting them to the crevices.
4. Paper Towels
You can use an arrangement of several paper towels to cover larger openings. Essentially, the number of towels required will be dependent on the size of the opening. After fixing the paper towel, use duct tape as the ultimate cover. This will keep water and moisture from destroying the paper towels.
5. Moving the AC
Instead of keeping the bugs away from the AC, you can keep the AC from the bugs. Simply take your window AC to a bug-free area of your property and enjoy a bug-free environment.
